Common Issues

Symptom Possible solution
Username/password error Enter the full username, such as user@aku.edu.tr or national_id@aku.edu.tr.
Certificate warning Use CAT/geteduroam instead of manual setup.
Connected but no internet Remove the old profile, restart the device, and reinstall the profile.
AKU does not appear in the institution list Search for Afyon Kocatepe; if no result appears, contact IT support.
Cannot connect at another university First verify that your AKU account works on an AKU campus.

If the issue continues, include the following information in your support request:

  • Device brand and model
  • Operating system and version
  • Campus, building, and floor
  • Setup method: CAT, geteduroam, or manual setup
  • Error message shown on screen
  • Username

Do not share your password by e-mail, phone, or support request.
